At Sustainable Swine Resources (SSR), we’re excited to introduce our newest team member, Ramon Flores, who joined us in September 2023 as our Business Manager. We’re thrilled to have him on board to help us continue our mission of delivering high-quality porcine tissues across multiple industries while optimizing value and sustainability.
A Wealth of Experience
Ramon brings a wealth of experience to his new role at SSR, with 15 years of combined experience in the beef and pork industries. He comes to us from JBS, one of the largest meat producers in the world, where he held various pivotal positions. In his most recent role as the Pork Variety Meats Primal Manager, Ramon was responsible for pricing, sales, and scheduling of variety meat production, demonstrating his exceptional skills in managing and optimizing valuable resources.
Ramon’s diverse background also includes roles such as Pork International Sales Manager, International Sales Coordinator, and Human Resources. This wealth of experience makes him a valuable addition to the SSR team, bringing a unique perspective to our operations.
Beyond the Office
As Ramon embarks on this new chapter, relocating from Colorado to Wisconsin, we’d like to extend our warmest welcome to him, his wife, and their furry companion.
Outside of the office, Ramon has many different interests. He enjoys motorsports, and has a passion for traveling, exploring the world, and indulging in cultural and gastronomic adventures. We believe that these passions and experiences will not only enrich his life but also contribute to the dynamic culture here at SSR.
